2010 Collings MT

2010 Collings MT (#2097) in overall very good condition. This one shows a lot of play wear in the form of pick rash, dings/scratches, and some finish checking but it is in perfect structural condition with no cracks or repairs.

This is a mandolin that has been played a lot over its 15 years, and it sounds like it! Wide open tone and volume that compares favorably with many of the varnished model Collings mandolins that we have had in the shop. A wonderful mix of woody fundamental tone and signature Collings rich complexity, with ample power to stand out in an ensemble of instruments. The mandolin just received a full professional set-up and plays easily in all positions with no issues whatsoever with plenty of room in the adjustable bridge and truss rod for any future adjustments to personal preference. This is a great deal on a great Collings mandolin for those undeterred by some aesthetic wear.

Engelmann spruce top, Red maple back/sides/neck, nitrocellulose lacquer finish, tortoise top binding, radiused ebony fretboard w/pearl position markers, ebony adjustable bridge, one piece cast tailpiece, Prestige Elite tuners w/ebony buttons, ebony endpin w/pearl eye, adjustable truss rod, 1-1/8" bone nut.
