USED Allen Resonator Banjo

Used Allen banjo in very good condition. Shows some tarnish on the metal components and a few light dings and scratches here and there.

Allen banjos were made in Houston Texas by builder Fonza "Allen" Smith. There is not much information available on him although we did find a nice article on his banjos in the Banjo Newsletter archives written by Eddie Collins and can share that with anyone interested. The banjo is of very high quality with nice materials and craftsmanship. We received this banjo from the original owner that purchased it directly from the builder sometime in the late 1990s for $2500, which makes this quite the value! A nice hardshell case is included.
