Pava Satin A4 - Dark Brown

Brand new Pava Satin A4 from our good friends down the road at the Ellis/Pava workshop. This one is a custom color in a very dark brown that almost appears black in low light settings, but not so dark that you can't appreciate the amazing flame and figure in the one piece maple back.

This is an incredible sounding mandolin. It has all of the rich depth that one would expect from a fine oval hole mandolin, but maintains crisp clarity and cutting power usually only found in an F hole instrument. Perfect balance across the strings as well as up and down the fretboard, this mandolin loses absolutely nothing when played in the upper registers, which is a common issue in a lot of oval hole instruments. This is a powerful mandolin that will easily stand out in an ensemble of instruments, as well as providing an incredibly satisfying solo experience. A wonderful mandolin from one of the top builders of the modern era.
