Pava Pro F5

Brand new Pava F5 just in from our good friends down the road at the Ellis/Pava workshop! The "Pro" model is the top-of-the-line instrument from Pava and this one certainly leaves nothing to be desired. An absolutely stunning work of art that sounds just as beautiful as it looks. Crisp clarity and definition balanced with a wonderful rich and complex tonal character, this is a true "desert island" mandolin that would be just as at home playing a Bach piece as it would in a traditional bluegrass setting. With power and volume to spare, the tone retains an amazing sweetness even when played with a more aggressive attack, while also responding beautifully to just the lightest touch. Perfect balance across the strings as well as up and down the fretboard. This is a true "pro" level instrument and clearly among the best mandolins available today.
