2023 Northfield F5S (Black Top-Adirondack)

2023 Northfield F5S in excellent condition. Just a few small, faint marks here and there that require close scrutiny to notice. We acquired this mandolin from the original owner, who purchased it brand new from us just over a year ago and took very good care of it.

This is a wonderful sounding F5 mandolin with the looks to match its sound! Wide open tone with Northfield's signature resonance and responsiveness on full display. It takes very little effort to provide a powerful sound with rich complexity and a crystal clear voice. Ample cutting power to be heard in any ensemble of instruments, and refined enough to record alongside the very best. The set up is perfect and the mandolin plays almost effortlessly in all positions. A great example of why Northfield is the choice of so many professional musicians!

Adirondack spruce top, highly flamed maple back/sides/neck, black top/sunburst back finish, ebony radiused fretboard, ebony adjustable bridge, bound maple pick guard, Gotoh tuners, adjustable truss rod, 1-1/8" nut width. Comes with its original Airloom Recurve case from Northfield.
