Another great mandolin just in from Dripping Springs, Texas builder, Jerry Hill. While tastefully understated in appointments, this is a gorgeous instrument made with beautiful materials and a high level of craftsmanship. It has a wonderful tone that is rich and full with ample cutting power and volume to stand out in any ensemble of instruments. Great balance from low to high and up and down the fretboard. The setup is low and comfortable and the mandolin plays easily in all positions. Adirondack spruce top, curly maple back, sides and neck, ebony fretboard and bridge, MOP headstock inlay and position markers, bone nut, Gotoh tuners, tortoise top binding, varnish finish, adjustable truss rod, radiused fretboard, 1-1/8" nut width. Comes with a Superior brand hardshell case.
