J Hill A5

New J Hill A5 from our good friend from just down the road in Dripping Springs, TX. This is an incredible sounding mandolin! Beautiful, rich tonal character with lots of power and pop. To our ears, this mandolin has the perfect balance of depth and clarity with a wonderful woody sound. Strong chop and a nice percussive quality to the single notes. Balanced both across the strings as well as up and down the fretboard. The tone of this mandolin compares favorably with some well known builders commanding much more for their instruments. Come by and check this one out. It's very hard to put down!
