It is really hard to imagine how much "better" a mandolin can possibly get. The total package in every way from sound to playability to aesthetics. Deep, lush tone with equal parts focus and clarity. Loud and powerful yet somehow still delicate and airy. Incredibly responsive even to the lightest touch, playing with more vigor unveils new layers of tone and rewards the player that uses a varied approach in technique. Just an incredible experience for the player. Of course, like all Ellis mandolins, the fit/finish and attention to detail are second to none.
