Brand new Eastman MD604 in the beautiful "gold burst" finish.

This is a wonderful sounding mandolin with a rich, robust tone while still maintaining crisp clarity and articulation. Qualities usually present in instruments costing much more. Being an oval hole mandolin it has a much deeper tone than its F hole counterpart with more bass response, but this example also has the clarity to counter the depth in a very lovely way. Great balance across the strings as well as up and down the fretboard. This model comes with a factory installed K&K Duotone mandolin pickup, great amplified sound and very true to the acoustic tone of instrument. The mandolin has been set-up and plays great in all positions with no issues whatsoever. 

All solid, hand-carved construction. Spruce top, maple back/sides/neck, fully bound in grained ivoroid binding, ebony radiused fretboard w/pearl block position markers, ebony adjustable bridge, cast tailpiece, adjustable truss rod, 1-3/32" bone nut. Eastman case included.
