The Eastman MD514 represents an incredible value in the slim pickings world of F style oval hole mandolins. Great rich tone with volume and balance that punch way above its class. While some may consider this an entry/intermediate instrument, we so no reason at all that this mandolin could not be used in any professional situation, recording or live, with great success. All solid wood construction, spruce top, maple back/sides/neck, ebony bridge and fretboard, gloss lacquer finish, grained ivoroid binding, cast tailpiece, 1-3/32" bone nut, radiused fretboard. Comes with a shaped hardshell case.
