Early 1900s J.B. Schall Mini/Travel Banjo

Early 1900's J.B. Schall mini banjo in great vintage condition. Being well over 100 years old, it shows a moderate amount of wear but in excellent condition for its age.

Measuring 28" total length with a 20" scale length and an 8" head, this is a very small banjo with a very big vibe! It is strung and set-up with nylon strings and sounds wonderfully charming when played in the clawhammer style. We believe it to be all original, with the possible exception of the tailpiece, with no mix-matched components. The neck and frets are in good shape and the banjo plays true all the way up and down the neck. Just a super fun vintage banjo! A neat old hardshell case is included.
