2025 Northfield Quickstep Mandola

2025 Northfield Quickstep Mandola in excellent condition. Very few signs of prior ownership that will take close scrutiny to notice.

This is a beautiful sounding mandola with an amazing rich depth while still maintaining crystal clear definition. We find that a lot of mandolas tend to lean a bit too heavy into a dark tonal character and lack sparkle and ring. This is a very open and "airy" sounding instrument with a lovely balance of crisp resonance to even out the depth of the lower register. The set-up is perfect and plays easily in all positions. A very beautiful, inspiring instrument!

Adirondack spruce top, Michigan maple back/sides/neck, varnish finish, figured ebony fretboard, Gotoh tuners, Gilchrist designed tailpiece, adjustable ebony bridge, adjustable truss rod, 16-1/2" scale length, 1-1/4" bone nut, strap button at neck heel. Comes with its original Northfield gig bag.
