2025 Northfield Big Mon

2025 Northfield Big Mon (dated 6/23/25) in excellent condition. There are some light dings on the top rim that require close scrutiny to notice. This was purchased brand new from our shop less than a year ago and has been very well cared for.

An incredible F5 mandolin! The tone is deep, rich, and complex while still maintaining unsurpassed clarity and note separation. Qualities found in only the finest of mandolins. The responsiveness of this mandolin is second to none. The volume and power it produces with just the lightest of touch is truly remarkable. This represents an excellent value at this price for an instrument that is not yet a year old.

This one features an Engelmann spruce top which we feel it gives it added warmth, complexity, and depth compared to the Adirondack top variations. Of course, as with all Northfield instruments the craftsmanship, materials, and attention to detail are top tier. Gorgeous sunburst varnish finish, Loar style "side binding", ebony pick guard, Gilchrist designed tailpiece, 1-1/8" nut width, Gotoh tuners, radiused fretboard. Comes with a nice Airloom Recurve case from Northfield.
