2023 Northfield Big Mon (Engelmann)

Very recent (January 2023) Northfield Big Mon in excellent condition. We sold this mandolin brand new to a local musician just a few months ago. He played it very sparingly and ultimately decided to focus his attention on guitar and traded it in. This is an absolutely wonderful instrument with the signature Northfield responsiveness and a deep, rich tone. Even with it's depth of tone, this mandolin still retains excellent clarity, cutting power, and balance. It responds equally well to a light touch or more vigorous right hand strumming/picking. This is a great opportunity to obtain a very recent Big Mon for a considerable discount off the new price.

Engelmann spruce top, figured maple back/sides/neck, ebony radiused fretboard and bridge, "side bound" triple binding in grained ivoroid, bound ebony pickguard, varnish finish, Gilchrist designed tailpiece, Gotoh tuners, 1-1/8" bone nut. Comes with and "Airloom" case from Northfield, also in excellent condition.
