2023 Northfield Big Mon in exceptional, like new condition. We sold this mandolin brand new just last year and it was stored and never played.

What an incredible F5 mandolin! The tone is deep, rich, and complex while still maintaining unsurpassed clarity and note separation. Qualities found in only the finest of mandolins. The responsiveness of this mandolin is second to none and the volume and power it produces with just the lightest of touch is truly remarkable.

This one features an Adirondack spruce top which we feel it gives it added punch, clarity, and power compared to the Engelmann tops, which are standard to this model. Of course, as with all Northfield instruments the craftsmanship, materials, and attention to detail are top tier. Gorgeous amber varnish finish, tortoise binding and bound pick guard , Gilchrist designed tailpiece, 1-1/8" bone nut, radiused fretboard, adjustable truss rod, ebony adjustable bridge. Comes with a very nice Airloom Recurve case from Northfield.
