2023 Northfield 5-Bar Artist F5 - Italian Spruce

2023 Northfield F5 Artist in excellent condition. What very few signs of prior ownership there are take very close scrutiny to notice. 

Labeled in December of 2023, this mandolin is only a few months old, but it already exhibits a beautiful mature tone with a wide open powerful voice. The 5-Bar bracing pattern from Northfield yields a wonderful depth and low end response, but this instrument is just as equally impressive in the mid-range and upper registers. The crisp clarity and cutting power of this mandolin will easily stand out in any ensemble of instruments and its powerful percussive chop adds a wonderful dynamic to chord tones. The set up is low and comfortable and the mandolin plays easily in all positions with no issues whatsoever. The silky playability along with the incredible tone and volume make this instrument an absolute thrill to play! 

Italian spruce top, flamed maple back/sides/neck, varnish finish, radiused ebony fretboard with pearl position markers, ebony adjustable bridge, fully bound in triple binding, ebony triple bound pick guard, Gilchrist designed tailpiece, Gotoh tuners, adjustable truss rod, 1-1/8" bone nut. Comes with an extremely nice carbon fiber case from Northfield.
