2023 DaSilva Custom Concert Ukulele

2023 DaSilva concert ukulele in excellent condition. Hardly any signs of prior use at all. There is one small blemish in the decorative sound hole rosette that requires up close scrutiny to notice.

This is an absolutely beautiful sounding (and of course, looking) instrument from renowned builder Mike DaSilva with some very nice custom features. It was made with an extra wide fretboard, 1.5" at the nut, with an emphasis more on picking styles rather than strumming. Single note melody lines are definitive and clear, with great balance across the strings and up and down the neck. Even still, chords sound absolutely wonderful, and this would be an excellent choice for anyone looking for a top-tier ukulele with more room on the fretboard. 

Sitka spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, Honduran mahogany neck, Cocobolo bridge/binding/heel cap, Indonesian ebony fretboard w/abolone position markers, Wenge/Purple Heart/Ebony/Mahogany rosette, Gotoh 4:1 tuners, 1.5" bone nut, 15.5" scale length. Currently strung with a low G string. Comes with a very nice hardshell case.
