2022 Northfield Big Mon

2022 Northfield Big Mon in excellent condition. There are a few small scratches and dings here and there but they take close scrutiny to notice.

A POWERHOUSE of a mandolin with an enormous sound! Very percussive and woody with an incredible chop and depth. Even with its power and bottom end, this mandolin is still supremely balanced and displays crisp and clear note definition. This is an instrument that confidently crosses the threshold of what we judge the very best on. Set-up with a low and comfortable action and plays wonderfully in all positions with no issues whatsoever. On top of its incredible sound and playability it is absolutely gorgeous with a striking dark finish that is rare to see in this model.

Engelmann spruce top, flamed maple back/sides/neck, varnish finish, fully bound, radiused ebony fretboard, ebony adjustable bridge, bound ebony pickguard, Gotoh tuners, Gilchrist designed tailpiece, adjustable truss rod, 1-1/8" bone nut. Comes with a Northfield "Airloom" case.
