2021 Northfield Archtop Octave Mandolin (Maple)

2021 Northfield Archtop Octave in excellent condition. Very few signs of prior use that all require very close scrutiny to notice.

An outstanding instrument that legitimately rivals instruments commanding more than double its price. Beautiful rich tone, with impeccable balance across the tonal spectrum. Crisp clarity in every note with a deep, warm growl backing it all up. This instrument would excel either as strictly rhythm or melodic playing styles. Lots of dynamics to explore and very fun to play! The action is low and comfortable and it plays very easily in all positions.

Italian spruce top, figured Michigan maple back/sides/neck, nitrocellulose lacquer finish, ebony radiused fretboard, ebony adjustable bridge, Gotoh tuners, Nugget tailpiece, 22" scale length, 1-13/32" nut width. Original fiberglass hardshell case included.
