2018 Northfield Big Mon

2018 Northfield Big Mon in excellent condition. There are a few tiny finish abrasions here and there but nothing that does not take close scrutiny to notice.

The Big Mon model from Northfield is a shop favorite here and this one certainly exemplifies why that is. Big, bold, beautiful tone with wonderful depth and volume. Even with its power it remains incredibly balanced and still retains ample cutting power for playing in any ensemble of instruments. This is what we look for in the finest mandolins available. We just performed a full set-up and the mandolin plays beautifully in all positions with no issues whatsoever.

Engelmann spruce top, maple back/sides/neck, hybrid varnish finish, Loar style side binding, radiused ebony fretboard, Gotoh tuners, James tailpiece, adjustable ebony bridge, adjustable truss rod, 1-1/8" bone nut. Northfield "Airloom" case included.
