2018 National Steve James "Wood Rocket"

2018 National Wood Rocket in excellent condition. Just some very minimal signs of prior use on the resonator cover plate.

This is an absolutely wonderful resonator guitar, with a much more nuanced voice than that of its metal body counterpart the "ResoRocket". The late, great blues guitar master Steve James collaborated with National to create this model. He wanted a resonator that still sounded authentic, but with a more subtle sound with more control over dynamics. The result is a beautiful tone with layers of richness and complexity to complement the bite and growl of the resonator. We might even say its the "prettiest" sounding resophonic guitar we have played. This one comes to us set up perfectly for alternating between sliding and fretting, just like Steve James himself! 25" scale length, 1-13/16" nut width. Original hardshell case included.
