2018 Collings MT2V -Baked Top w/vintage style case

2018 Collings MT2V in excellent plus condition. Any signs of prior use would require extremely close scrutiny to notice. 

This is an absolute powerhouse mandolin with a WIDE OPEN tone and enough volume to stand out in the noisiest of environments. Ultra responsive to just the lightest touch, this is an instrument that will handsomely reward anyone who plays with dynamics. A beautiful mixture of richness, depth, and cutting power. Perfect balance across the strings as well as up and down the fretboard, this mandolin loses no tone or volume in any position. We cannot imagine any genre or style of playing that this instrument would not excel in. It is simply one of the best mandolins available.

Adirondack spruce top (baked), Sugar maple back/sides/neck, varnish finish, radiused ebony fretboard with descending pearl position markers, ebony "full contact" adjustable bridge, fully bound in tortoise triple binding, bound tortoise pick guard, James tailpiece (replacement), Waverly tuners with ebony buttons, adjustable truss rod with ebony cover plate, 1-1/8" bone nut, strap button added at neck heel.  Comes with the Collings made vintage style case, also in excellent condition. *We will not sell the case separately, no trades please.
