2018 Collings MT2 - Honey Amber Tortoise

2018 Collings MT2 in excellent condition. There are a just couple of tiny dings that require angling the instrument in light in order to notice.

This is a wonderful A5 mandolin that has the beautiful signature Collings tone in spades! At five years old this one is already wide open with a wonderful crisp and seasoned quality to the tone. Powerful and loud enough to be heard over any ensemble, this mandolin also responds incredibly well to a light touch and is very responsive to playing with varied dynamics. Great balance across the tonal spectrum as well as up and down the fretboard. The mandolin is set up to Collings factory specifications and plays beautifully in all positions with no issues whatsoever.

Adirondack Spruce top, Red maple back/sides/neck, ebony radiused fretboard with descending pearl dot position markers, ebony "full contact" adjustable bridge, cast tailpiece, fully bound in tortoise triple binding, Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons, ebony endpin with pearl eye, 1-1/8" bone nut, strap button installed at neck heel. Comes with its original hardshell case from Collings, also in excellent condition.
