This a powerful mandolin with a sweet voice that reminds us of some of the great vintage instruments that we have encountered. It responds beautifully to a light touch with a dry and crisp treble response, punchy midrange, and a balanced low end. This is a mandolin that will definitely "cut a mix" of instruments without being brittle or harsh and certainly provides a wonderful solo mandolin experience. The setup is low and comfortable and plays great in all positions with no issues.
