2017 Gibson F5G Custom - Red Spruce/30's Burst

2017 Gibson F5G Custom in excellent condition. Just some very minor signs of use here and there.

A wonderful F5 from the most iconic producer of mandolins in history. This "custom" model offers some very nice upgrades from a standard F5G including a Red Spruce top, full body binding with triple top binding, a radiused fretboard, and special color scheme. The tone is what we consider to be the classic Gibson F5 sound with a powerful, dry, and punchy character. Nice balance across the string courses as well as up and down the neck. This is a mandolin that will "cut a mix" and stand out in an ensemble of instruments. Responds beautifully to either a light touch or a more aggressive attack. A great Gibson F5!
