2016 Gibson L-00 1932 Vintage Reissue

2016 Gibson L-00 in very good condition. It shows some fine scratches here and there but in overall excellent condition.

Over the years we have developed a wavering opinion of most vintage reissue instruments but we can safely say that this one checks all of the boxes and really does deliver some of the cool vintage vibe and, most importantly, the sound! This particular model was made with a thermo-cured Adirondack top as well as scalloped bracing and while instruments are a "sum of all parts" we feel like this might be what puts this guitar in the same league as some of the finest guitars available. The sound is absolutely huge for such a small bodied guitar with enough power and punch to rival the best vintage models. Extremely responsive to even the lightest touch and has a beautiful woody character to the tone, also characteristics of the strongest vintage 00 guitars. Set-up with a low and comfortable action and plays wonderfully in all positions. Fair warning: this guitar has a very substantial neck profile (same as the vintage models) so if you prefer a thin neck then this one may not be to your liking. Contact us to come in a try it out!

Thermally cured Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back/sides/neck, rosewood fretboard and vintage style bridge, scalloped X-bracing,  nitrocellulose lacquer finish, vintage style tuners, adjustable truss rod, fire-stripe pickguard, 24-3/4" scale, 1-3/4" nut width. Comes with a very nice vintage styled hardshell case.
