2016 Collings MT2 - Wide Nut

2016 Collings MT2 wide nut in very good condition. Showing some wear in the form of a few dings here and there, string change scratches on the headstock, and some finish abrasions on the neck. Structurally excellent, crack free with no repairs and none needed.

This is an absolutely beautiful mandolin both aesthetically and sonically. Rich, balanced tone with all of the power and volume that Collings mandolins are famous for. This one has aged in nicely and has a nice mature crispness and pop much like the varnish models that Collings produces while still retaining a lush, rich depth. We just performed a set-up to Collings factory specifications and the mandolin plays wonderfully in all positions with no issues whatsoever.  This is a great deal on a top-tier mandolin for those unbothered by a little aesthetic wear.

Italian spruce top, Eastern maple back/sides/neck, fully bound in triple binding, radiused ebony fretboard w/pearl dot positions markers, ebony adjustable bridge, Gotoh tuners, cast tailpiece, adjustable truss rod, 1-3/16" bone nut, strap button added at neck heel. Original hardshell case included.
