2015 Gibson F-5 Fern

This is an absolute powerhouse F5 and certainly one of the finest sounding examples of the modern Gibson era that we have encountered. Beautiful dry, fundamental tone in the best way possible with an incredible amount of power and depth. This mandolin has one of the best chops of any instrument that we have ever had come through our shop, and we have had a lot! Equally impressive playing double stops or single notes. Great balance across the strings and up the neck. The mandolin has been professionally set up and plays wonderfully in all positions with no issues whatsoever. A great deal on an amazing instrument for those unbothered by aesthetic wear. 1-1/16" nut width, radiused fretboard with EVO frets and scooped extension. Original hardshell case included.
