2013 Black Hills Banjo

2013 Black Hills Banjo in excellent condition. Just a few tiny dings here and there but nothing of note.

We can find no information on this builder at all. We received it from the original owner who purchased it new in 2013 from a small music shop in South Dakota. It is a wonderful sounding banjo with a deep and woody sound (it has a wooden tone ring). Very charming tone and even with its depth, it has a nice snap and clarity to the sound. Very bold aesthetics with some wonderful inlays, a decorative carved neck, and beautiful woodwork. The previous owner had the banjo set-up for 3-finger style playing with a low action and also installed a McIntyre Feather pickup.
