2011 Weber Bitterroot F5 - Upgraded
2011 Weber Bitterroot F5 - Upgraded
2011 Weber Bitterroot F5 in excellent condition. Just a few very small surface scratches here and there that require very close scrutiny to notice.
This is wonderful sounding mandolin with a nice rich tonal character and plenty of power to stand out in any ensemble of instruments. Great balance of complexity and woody pop. Good volume balance from low to high and up and down the fretboard. The mandolin is set up with a low action and plays very easily in all positions with no issues.
The Bitterroot model comes standard with a satin/matte finish but this one was upgraded to full gloss as well as the addition of a bound ebony pick guard. The sunburst is absolutely beautiful and the flame on the maple back is stunning! This is definitely the most beautiful Bitterroot that we have encountered.
Spruce top, maple back/sides/neck, ebony fretboard with pearl diamond position markers, ebony adjustable bridge, pearl "Celtic knot" headstock inlay and logo, bound ebony pick guard, one piece cast Weber tailpiece, grained ivoroid binding, adjustable truss rod, radiused fretboard, 1-1/8" bone nut, made in Montana, signed by Bruce Weber. Comes with its original hardshell case from Weber, also in excellent condition.
