2010 Collings MT

2010 Collings MT in good condition showing some significant player wear on the top, but 100% structurally sound with no prior repairs and none needed. Collings "entry level" model is made with the rigorous standards applied to all of their instruments, and while understated aesthetic wise, this is a rich, loud,  and balanced professional level instrument. A bit dark/rich sounding on the tonal spectrum, this mandolin still has plenty of cutting power to slice through any ensemble of instruments. For those unbothered by aesthetic wear, or even find it charming, this instrument represents a great value considering the new price of this model is now $4,000. Engelmann spruce top, Red maple back/sides/neck, radiused fretboard, 1-1/8" nut width. Previous owner upgraded the tailpiece to a James. Comes with its original hardshell case from Collings.
