2010 Collings MF Black Top

2010 Collings MF (gloss top and ivoroid binding upgrade) in excellent condition. There are a few small pecks and dings but nothing major or that doesn't take up close observation. 

This is a fantastic F5 mandolin with the signature Collings sound that made their mandolins famous. Wonderfully resonant with a loud and powerful voice that will cut through the mix of any ensemble of instruments. This one has had 13 years to open up and it has a beautifully seasoned quality to the tone that just isn't present in a brand new instrument. Crisp and articulate with excellent clarity and note separation. Perfect balance across the tonal spectrum as well as up and down the fretboard. We just performed a full set up to return the mandolin to Collings factory specifications and it plays beautifully in all positions with no issues whatsoever.

Adirondack spruce top, Red maple back/sides/neck, ebony fretboard with pearl position markers, en=bony adjustable bridge, one piece cast tailpiece, Prestige Elite tuners, grained ivoroid top binding, radiused fretboard, 1-1/8" bone nut. Comes with its original hardshell case from Collings.
