2010 Collings CJ

2010 Collings CJ MHSB (mahogany/sunburst) in good condition. This guitar has been used professionally for years and it shows plenty of dings, scratches, and finish blemishes. However, it is 100% crack free with no prior repairs and none needed. It had a recent set up and plays wonderfully in all positions with no issues whatsoever.

This is an absolutely beautiful sounding instrument with a full, rich tonal character as well as the power and clarity to be heard in any ensemble of instruments. While this guitar definately exhibits Collings' trademark shimmer and focus, the slope shoulder design contributes "rounder" single notes and a bit of a darker character when playing chords. Perfectly balanced across the strings and up and down the fretboard. This is an excellent deal on an incredible guitar for someone who doesn't mind the aesthetic wear.

Sitka spruce top, Honduran mahogany back/sides/neck, pre-war style scalloped X bracing, fire stripe pick guard, ebony fretboard, bridge, and peg head, bone nut and saddle, ebony bridge pins w/pearl dots, Waverly tuners, tortoise binding, 22-1/2" scale length, 1-3/4" nut width. A K&K internal pickup and strap button have been professionally installed. Comes with its original hardshell case in good shape with some stickers on it.
