2009 Weber Yellowstone F5 in exceptional condition. Any signs of prior use will require very close scrutiny to notice. 

This is an absolutely beautiful example of Weber's flagship mandolin, both in terms of aesthetic beauty and in sound. The tone is a wonderful combination of both depth and brightness. It has a very warm quality with beautiful complexity but also retains crystal clear clarity and definition. We have found over the years that our favorite Weber mandolins tend to have cedar tops, so maybe that is part of it, but this one seems to have just a little extra something in depth and clarity. On top of the beautiful tone, this mandolin has power and balance that maintain from first position to all the way up the neck.

This mandolin was custom ordered with a few cool features including the Weber integrated ebony armrest tailpiece, an abalone inlaid ebony truss rod cover, and a Weber "wood nymph" harmonic string suppressor (not shown, but included). The gorgeous amber stain with the combination of the tortoise binding is just beautiful, the flame in the maple on the back and sides is incredible, and the mandolin still looks virtually new.
