2009 Kentucky KM-1000

2009 Kentucky KM1000 in good condition. It shows a fair amount of scratches, dings, and finish abrasions but is structurally excellent with no prior repairs and none needed.

A great F5 mandolin with a wonderful wide open and woody tone. Lots of volume and pop with a beautiful mature, played-in tonal character. Crisp, clear note separation and ample cutting power to be heard in an ensemble of instruments. This mandolin has a great fundamental "wood and strings" voice that many bluegrass and old-time players seek. Set-up and plays great in all positions with no issues. A K&K internal pickup has been installed and the mandolin sounds wonderful amplified and very true to its great acoustic voice. 1-1/16" nut width, flat fretboard with scooped extension. TKL hardshell case included.
