2007 Passernig F5 in very good condition. It shows a variety of minor dings, scratches, and finish abrasions consistent with most instruments approaching 20 years of service. No cracks or prior repairs, and none needed.
Austin based luthier Stefan Passernig retired from building several years ago and there is good reason why you very rarely see them come up for sale. This mandolin is a prime example of why people tend to hold on to them forever. Powerful, loud, and responsive with supreme cutting power while still exhibiting a beautiful, delicate tonality. Incredible mid-range punch with crisp, clean note separation. On top of the incredible sound, the mandolin plays almost effortlessly and just feels so comfortable in the hand. A very inspiring instrument that begs to be played more and more!
