2007 Martin D-28 Marquis Shade Top

2007 Martin Marquis D28 in good condition. This guitar has been played a lot over its 16 years and shows the dings and scratches consistent with that, but it is still very beautiful and has zero cracks or structural issues. No prior repairs and none needed.

This is an incredibly resonant guitar with a huge, lively tone. For as powerful as it is, it still remains beautifully balanced across the tonal spectrum and up and down the fretboard. This is a guitar that definitely encompasses the signature Martin D28 sound with a big lush voice while also having a lot of cutting power. This would make a perfect bluegrass guitar for sure, but it also is toneful and sweet enough to work well in just about any genre.

Adirondack spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard with abalone "snowflake" position markers, ebony bridge, herringbone binding, 25.4" scale length, 1-3/4" nut width. Comes with its original hardshell case from Martin that shows some wear but functions perfectly.
