2006 Santa Cruz 000-NB (Norman Blake/Rising Fawn)

2006 Santa Cruz 000-NB in very good condition. Very minimal play wear, particularly on a guitar approaching 20 years of age. There was a very slight center seam movement that we repaired with hide glue and is now completely tight. It is only evident in the finish above the seam.

This is an extremely rare, unique, and outstanding instrument! The power of this guitar rivals that of the best dreadnoughts available, while still exhibiting all of the best qualities of a fine triple aught. Incredible balance across the tonal spectrum with, in our opinion, the perfect blend of complexity and fundamental woodiness in the sound. This is truly an instrument that would be right at home playing any style of music imaginable. It responds equally great to fingerpicking as it does strumming. This guitar just received a full professional set-up and was PLEK'd by one of Austin's premier shops. It plays easily in all positions with no issues whatsoever. 

One of only 12 Norman Blake "Rising Fawn" models made, Sitka spruce top, Honduran mahogany back/sides/neck, deep body in the style of Model H, 12 fret neck, ebony fretboard w/pearl markers, ebony pyramid bridge, fully bound w/herringbone top trim, tortoise pickguard, Santa Cruz vintage style tuners, bone nut and saddle, 25.4" scale length, 2.31" string spacing at bridge, 1.83" nut width, strap button added at neck heel. TKL hardshell case included.
