2003 Rigel G5

2003 Rigel G5 (Hyde Park, VT) in very good condition. Showing the small dings and scratches associated with most any instrument that has been in service for over 20 years, but structurally perfect with no prior repairs and none needed. The mandolin just received a full setup by Pete Langdell of Rigel and has a clean bill of health.

This is a wonderful sounding instrument with Rigel's signature silky tone on full display. Strong, throaty sound with superb balance and clarity all over the fretboard. The recent set up is perfect and the mandolin plays like absolute butter in all positions with no issues whatsoever. Just as impressive, is the amplified sound from the Rigel installed pickup. Certainly one of the best amplified mandolin sounds available and very true to the beautiful acoustic properties of the instrument.
