2003 Gibson J-100 XT

2003 Gibson J-100 XT in very good condition. A few dings and scratches, with some finish checking here and there but nothing outside the norm for an instrument that has been in service for over 20 years. Structurally perfect with no cracks. No prior repairs and none needed.

This is an absolutely wonderful sounding guitar with a beautiful tone and buttery smooth playability. With over 20 years of use the sound has been "broken in" and has much more depth and character than is usually present in these jumbo maple guitars. It still retains the crisp clarity that these instruments are known for, but with an added complexity that would make this guitar shine in virtually any style of music. The set up is perfect and the guitar plays beautifully in all positions with no issues whatsoever. On top of all of this, the instrument is drop dead gorgeous! Certainly one of the finer "modern" Gibson Jumbo models that we have encountered.

Spruce top, flamed maple back and sides, rosewood fretboard, rosewood bridge, 1-11/16" nut width, 25-3/8" scale length. Original hardshell case included.
