1999 Gibson J-100 XT

1999 Gibson J-100XT in very good condition for a guitar of this age that has been in service. There is finish checking and a fair amount of dings but the guitar is crack free and 100% structurally sound. The J-100XT model features a mahogany back and sides instead of the traditional maple, which provides for a much more robust and warmer tone. It still has the added focus and clarity of a traditional jumbo model but with more of a dreadnought tonal structure mixed in. This is a powerful guitar that will stand out in an ensemble whether playing chords or melody. It has had a fresh set up and plays wonderfully in all positions with no issues. Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, Rosewood fretboard and bridge, 25-3/8 scale length, 1-11/16" nut width. Comes with its original hardshell case from Gibson.
