1991 Martin Shenandoah

1991 Martin Shenandoah in very good condition. It shows some dings and scratches expected with most instruments that have been in service for 35 years, but in much better shape than most of this age.

The Shenandoah model was Martin's attempt at making a more affordable guitar by offering a hybrid build with Japan and their US workshop to offset labor and material costs. This is a beautiful sounding guitar with a nice seasoned and mature tone with nice balance across the strings as well as up the neck. This would make a wonderful older alternative to the brand new imports available on the market today at this price point. Very comfortable action and neck relief and plays great in all positions. The guitar has had a pickup installed and it sounds wonderful amplified! A strap button has also been added to the neck heel. 25-1/2" scale length, 1-11/16" nut width. Martin ABS hardshell case included.
