1983 Stewart McDonald "Diamond Eagle" Kit Banjo in good condition. It shows some wear consistent with any instrument over 40 years old. Some tarnish on metal components and some uneven patina on the finish, as evident in most kit instruments not finished by a professional.

This is a fantastic sounding banjo that reminds us very much of some really great vintage Gibson banjos (this one in the style of an RB-250) that we have come through the shop. The quality of components supplied in this kit are professional level and the banjo was assembled correctly. This would make a very nice USA made alternative to the import options in its price range. Interesting fact: This kit was originally ordered by the Jack Daniels distillery! The original receipt, paperwork, and assembly instructions are included. Comes with a hardshell case from the era of the banjo that is missing one latch but still functions great.
