1965 Martin D-21

1965 Martin D-21 in good vintage condition. It shows the wear, dings, scrapes, and finish check consistent with most instruments this age that have been in service but we can find no cracks anywhere.

This is an amazing guitar that has THE sound that players look for in a vintage Martin dreadnought. Powerful and loud with a wonderful depth, while simultaneously having a crisp, clear, and dry cutting power. In some ways, this guitar sounds like a hybrid of a D-28 and a D-18. It has the warm and lush character of rosewood, but has the punch and clarity of a good mahogany guitar. We can't think of a style of music or playing that this guitar wouldn't excel in. Even with the wear, and somewhat ugly replacement tuners, this is still a beautiful vintage instrument with an awesome "straight grain" Brazilian rosewood back and sides, and an absolutely heavenly sound! Comes with an older hardshell case.
