1961 Martin 0-18T Tenor Guitar
1961 Martin 0-18T Tenor Guitar
1961 Martin 0-18T in very good vintage condition. There are various dings and scratches but the instrument is 100% crack free and shows no signs of previous repairs and none needed.
This tenor is currently set up for GDAE (octave mandolin) tuning, which we feel really makes these old Martin tenor guitars sound amazing, but it could easily be converted to CGDA or DGBE with a simple string change. The set up is very comfortable and plays great in all positions with no issues. This instrument has a beautiful, seasoned and dry tone that only comes from many years of age and playing. Great balance across the strings and up and down the fretboard.
Spruce top, mahogany back/sides/neck, rosewood fretboard and bridge, 23" scale length, 1-14" nut width. Comes with an older chipboard case that is likely original to the guitar.
