1956 Fender Electric Mandolin

1956 Fender Electric Mandolin (first production year!) in good vintage condition. It shows lots of wear in the form of finish checking and abrasions, this is an instrument that has been played a lot but that is just part of the "mojo" that makes it so incredibly cool! We believe that the mandolin is all original except that the tuners have been replaced. The original frets function well, but have been leveled multiple times. They are pretty low so will likely need replacing vs being able to have them milled again once the need arises. We are an acoustic shop without much experience with electric instruments but the pickup and controls work well without making any noise. Comes with its original case that is almost as cool as the mandolin itself!
