1954 Martin 00-18

1954 Martin 00-18 in very good vintage condition. There are two repaired cracks (hide glue), one top and one back, that have been stable for a very long time. Other than that, there are the usual dings, scratches, and finish checking from an instrument that has been in service for over 70 years.

This is without question one of the finest examples of a vintage double aught guitar to ever cross our paths. It really is the total package. Beautiful seasoned tone that only comes with years of age and playing. Incredible responsiveness without giving up an ounce of balance. Power and volume that contradicts its small size. This is one of those guitars that just begs to be played, and then its very hard to put down. 

The neck has been reset along with a complete set up. The neck angle is perfect with the correct amount of saddle height and break-over angle, and the neck relief is at a wonderful .004". The guitar plays like a dream! The original Brazilian rosewood bridge was cracked (included in the sale) and was replaced with a new Brazilian replica. A K&K internal pickup has been installed and the guitar sounds amazing amplified, very true to its beautiful acoustic tone. A modern era Martin hardshell case is included.
