1953 Gibson Super 300

1953 Gibson Super 300 in great vintage condition. It shows wear consistent with its age in the form of scratches, dings, buckle rash, and finish checking. No structural issues or repairs. We believe that the guitar is original with the exception of the pick guard. It has had a neck re-set, re-fret, and professional setup. There is room in the truss rod and bridge for any future adjustments.

This is a rare bird! This is first Super 300 that we have ever encountered and it does not disappoint. This is a huge guitar, both in stature (18" lower bout) and sound. Beautiful, bold, seasoned tone that only comes from fine vintage guitars. Powerful notes ring out true in every position and almost as impressive is the balance across the spectrum, considering this is such a large instrument.
