1923 Gibson A2

1923 Gibson A2 in very good vintage condition. It shows the dings, scratches, and scuffs of virtually any instrument over 100 years old but is crack free, showing no sign of repairs and none needed. All seams and joints are tight and the arching of the top and back are perfect, and we believe the instrument to be 100% original.

This is an absolutely incredible sounding instrument from the most coveted period of Gibson mandolin production. Beautiful deep, lush tone with an outstanding seasoned character that is only present in the finest vintage instruments. Even with its great depth, the notes are still crystal clear and crisp and the tone and volume are balanced across the spectrum. The set up is silky smooth and the mandolin plays very easily in all positions with no issues. This is a great one! Original hardshell case included.
