1998 Rigel G-110 in very good condition. There are a few small dings and scratches here and there but in great shape for a 25 year old mandolin!

This mandolin belonged to jazz/swing maestro Paul Glasse for a very long time, and prior to that belonged to Pete Langdell, one of the founding luthiers of Rigel mandolins. There is a letter included with the mandolin from Rigel to Paul from when he acquired it.

This is a wonderful sounding instrument that really showcases Rigel's innovation both in terms of aesthetic and tone. The signature Rigel "silky" unique tone is on full display with this mandolin and this one seems to be a bit more powerful than is typical for the brand. It has had a long time to open up and has a nice seasoned wood quality that compliments this unique tone in a wonderful way. The factory installed Schertler internal pickup sounds fantastic! The mandolin is setup and plays very well in all positions with a very fast neck!

Spruce top, maple back/sides/neck, boy fretboard with pearl diamond position markers, ebony adjustable bridge, radiused fretboard, 1-1/8" bone nut. Comes with its original (and very cool) faux alligator skin hardshell case.
